Lembach In the heart of the Northern Vosges Regional Natural Reserve, the Sauer Valley gives us a particularly pleasant-looking landscape with deep and narrow valleys, within green forests of pines and oaks. The recalling of a meaningful past adds up to all these natural delights.The numerous castles, hewn out of red sandstone, are unique items of evidence from the past. Feel free to visit the Gallo-Roman sculptures, the medieval castles' remants, the war memorials of the Battle of the 6th August 1870 and the buildings of the Maginot Line either by walking, on a bike, on horseback or by car. In the Sauer Valley, good life belongs together with good food! Our hostel-restaurant owners rejoice to share their passion for gastronomy with you and will let you taste gorgeous wines.
